Message from the Executive Director

As you can see from reading our front page, AVA is an unique experience for AAC users. This week-long camp welcomes people with all types of communication devices, whether from Prentke Romich, Dynavox, words+, or any other make or model. The goal of AVA is to teach campers how to use their communication devices in a vast variety of real-world settings. You can download a pdf of our brochure here.

I welcome you to keep exploring everything that AVA has to offer from the camp itself, to the multimedia resources like my blog and podcasts. It is my hope that Authentic Voices of America has something to offer everybody in and around the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communications.
